Let's face it, we poker
players just love going on a rush. It is what we live for. In fact,
legend poker player Doyle Brunson commented in Super System 1
that he tried to manufacture them by always playing the next hand
after he won a pot, no matter what cards he was dealt. While that
strategy is not recommended for us mere mortals, there is no denying
that gambling results tend to come in streaks.
However there is no
mathematical reason to play differently when you are winning. The
rushes will still come, no matter what you do. So the best thing to
do is always play your best game and let the rushes come naturally.
But we are humans and this is very difficult to do. We tend to
either tighten up to try and protect the win, or play more
aggressively to try and push the rush. Both of those tactics are
considerably flawed and will cost you in the long run.
This is one of the truly
great features of using a poker bot. They will just keep on playing
your 'A game' for you regardless of what has been happening at the
table recently. While most people like to think about poker bots
having an advantage because they never go on tilt, not adjusting
your play because you are winning is just as important.
Of course, if you have a
certain strategy that you want to employ once your stack size
reaches x amount, that can easily be set in the bot as well.
Sometimes it is good to play more aggressively with a big stack
because they are intimidating, especially in SNG's. This is up to
you of course. Our recommended poker bot can even change profiles
for you once your stack size reaches a certain level, or the number
of opponents at the table drops to a certain number.
